WHAT IS MAGIC
In the Emerald Tablet, the ancient philosopher Hermes Trismegistus used the following analogy to describe magic: “That which is seen is like unto that which is unseen, and that which is unseen is like unto that which is seen”. The Law oi Conservation of Energy states that energy may neither be created nor destroyed. Therefore the sum of all the energies in the system is a constant. Contrary to popular belief our universe is only half of that “system.” Energy in our universe is shored with on alternate universe existing parallel from our own. When energy is transmitted between the universes, it is converted acquiring a different set of properties during the process. Energy transmitted bock to our world without going through the conversion process is what we refer to as “magic”. Unprocessed magical energies are transmitted to our universe via several geographic locales existing in both universes called “Extents.” Those skilled in the manipulation of these magical energies can use them to defy our universe’s Laws of Reality.
HOW ARE SPELLS CAST?
The Famed occultist Aleister Crowley defined “spell casting” as “the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity to will.” Magic can easily be manipulating if one understands the properties of magical energy and uses the proper tools to manipulate it. Studies show magic responds to the neural synaptic responses of those who wield it. Rituals, ceremonies and spell casting have less to do with the control of magical energy and more to do with the triggering of particular synaptic responses in the brain of the practitioner. To manipulate magic, two things are needed- a conduit to direct the magical energies conjured and the ability to manipulate magic.
